Confessions of a Fraud-Fighter's Teenager w/ Karisse's Daughter, Jordyn

Published on: 22nd August, 2023

Fraudology is presented by Sardine.

In this episode of Fraudology, host Karisse Hendrick is joined by Jordyn, her 19-year-old daughter, to discuss the challenges of parenting in the digital age. As a fraud fighter and a parent, Karisse knew the importance of teaching internet safety to her child, from when she got her first smart phone, got her 1st social media account, and continued to grow up as technology continued to advance.

In this episode, Karisse laments over her parenting style when it came to technology, and Jordyn shares her honest opinion about what she thought about it then, and what she thinks about it now. Was mom too paranoid? Or was mom just trying to give her knowledge to keep herself safe online (or as much as possible, anyway).

Rounding out the conversation, Jordyn answers a few questions from Fraudology listeners (and their kids) about her mom, her mom's podcast and if she wants to be a fraud-fighter as an adult.

Topics include insights on social media precautions to smartphone usage, and they delve into various topics to offer practical advice for navigating the online world while ensuring the safety of our loved ones.

Fraudology is hosted by Karisse Hendrick, a fraud fighter with decades of experience advising hundreds of the biggest ecommerce companies in the world on fraud, chargebacks, and other forms of abuse impacting a company's bottom line.
